This guide will walk you through the process of creating a Google Translate API key and connecting it to Localify.

Step 1: Sign in to Google Cloud Console

1. Open Google Cloud Console
2. Log in with your Google account

Step 2: Set Up a Billing Account

Google Translate API is a paid service, so you’ll need to connect a billing account.

1. Open the Billing section (top-left menu → Billing)

1. Click "Manage billing accounts"

1. If you don’t have one:

   • Click "Add billing account"

   

   • Enter your country and payment method

2. Once created, link this billing account to your project (we’ll create it in the next step)

Step 3: Create a New Project

1. In the top bar of Google Cloud Console, click the Select a project
