Localify is not a translation service — it's a powerful localization management tool.
Its goal is to help you build multilingual games with more control, clarity, and confidence.
That said, Localify can integrate with external translation services (like Google Translate or Chat-GPT) to speed up your workflow when needed.
These integrations are fully optional and work through your own API keys.
This means:
💡 Think of it as a smart bridge between your localization data and trusted translation services — fully automated, but under your command.
To enable automatic translations, open the Settings section from the sidebar.

There, under the Translator category, you can choose your preferred translation provider.
Once selected, additional options will appear to help you configure your API connection and usage preferences.
You can switch translators at any time — Localify will adapt accordingly.

These settings are shared across all auto-translation providers and help you control how translation requests are handled.
Specifies how long Localify should wait for a response from the translation service before cancelling the request.
Useful in case of slow connections or API delays.
When enabled, Localify will log the usage stats after each translation — such as characters used, remaining quota, or request count.
Ideal for keeping track of limits on paid APIs.
When enabled, each translated element will automatically be marked as “Done” once its translation is received.
Disable this if you prefer to review or manually confirm translations before marking them as complete.
Sends a test request to the selected translator to check if your API key and setup are valid.
